Each floorplan is thoughtfully planned with large windows that bring in abundant natural light, well-appointed kitchens, full baths with shower bars, and smart-home technology that’s easy to control. And if you ever need a helping hand, our maintenance and management team are accessible 24 hours a day for added peace of mind. 

While most apartment homes at Brown Family House are designated for those with an income level that meets HUD guidelines for subsidized housing, a limited number of unrestricted, unsubsidized, below-market-rate apartments are available.

Brown Family House offers one-bedroom apartments specifically designed to make living easier for senior adults. All apartments meet 2Life’s adaptable design and accessibility standards. You’ll find a contemporary living space with luxury plank flooring and oversized windows that fill each room with natural light. You’ll also enjoy a well-appointed kitchen, large closets, and a full bathroom equipped with safety features.

Two-bedroom apartment homes

The two-bedroom apartments at Brown Family House are also designed to make living easier for senior adults and meet 2Life’s adaptable design and accessibility standards. In addition to two nicely sized bedrooms, luxury plank flooring and abundant natural light, you’ll find a contemporary living space, a well-appointed kitchen, large closets, and a full bathroom equipped with safety features.

Care Coordination Services

Should you find you need assistance to continue living independently in your apartment home, Brown Family House’s care coordinator is available to help you find an in-home care provider to meet your needs. Whether it’s help in defining your needs, locating a provider, or filling out an application, care coordination is a valuable benefit that can make it possible for you to remain in your home even if you’re no longer able to do everything yourself.

Income-Based Affordable Housing

We’re thrilled to know you’re interested in making Brown Family House your new home. Since we typically have a lengthy waitlist, we encourage you to complete an application as early as possible. As soon as your application is filed with our 2Life Communities Leasing Office, we’ll send an acknowledgment and provide more information on our waitlist procedure.

The timeline for apartment openings varies, but you’re welcome to email our Leasing Office any time to check your place on the waitlist. We’ll also send you a letter each year to confirm that you’d like to remain on the waitlist. As your name moves toward the top of the list, a member of our team will contact you to discuss next steps and help you make the best decision for your future.

Unrestricted Apartments

Brown Family House offers a limited number of unrestricted, unsubsidized, below-market-rate apartments for those whose income exceeds HUD guidelines for subsidized housing. You simply pay your monthly rent, which ranges from $2,300 to $3,400 for single occupancy, depending on the specific floor plan you choose. In addition, there is a second-person fee of $550.
