With over 20 years of commercial real estate lending experience, Tabetha serves as 2Life’s Director of Development Finance and Sustainability. One of Tabetha’s first projects when she joined 2Life was to help refinance our oldest property, Ulin House. In the process, she uncovered important opportunities to reduce operating costs on an organizational level including the MassSave LEAN program, which has provided 2Life over $1.8 million in goods and services. Under her guidance, 2Life was also the first multifamily partner of the Department of Energy Better Building Challenge (BBC) to reach the goal of reducing source energy consumption by 20% and did so in three years.
Tabetha earned a bachelor’s degree from Sloan School of Management at MIT and an MBA with a real estate concentration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Outside of 2Life, Tabetha has served as Chair of the Newton Planning Board, treasurer of a non-profit that provides transitional housing to victims of domestic violence, and currently serves on the Better Buildings Challenge Multifamily Steering Committee.
“The majority of our residents are concerned about the environment they are leaving for their children and grandchildren. It has been a joy to engage with them and show them how changes we make and small changes they make can have an impact on climate change. I am proud to work for an organization that is a nationally recognized leader in sustainable affordable housing”
