2Life's Response to COVID-19

Monthly Update: November 30th, 2021

Residents of the 2Life community have achieved high vaccination rates of above 90% at each of the five campuses. We have been working closely with pharmacy partners and have completed on-site booster clinics on all of our campuses. For anyone not yet vaccinated, staff continue to provide advocacy and education regarding the COVID-19 vaccine and remain available to provide support for anyone who would like to be vaccinated in identifying clinics, setting up appointments and arranging transportation. Lastly, recently, as per federal requirements, vaccination is now required as a condition of employment at 2Life Communities in order to keep residents and staff safe.

We continue to implement rigorous, evidence-based protocols and procedures in alignment with recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Boston Public Health Commission to ensure the safety of the entire 2Life community. Currently, we require proof of vaccination or a negative test result prior to entry at any of our campuses. We offer free rapid antigen testing at the door, and masking is required in all public indoor spaces, regardless of vaccination status. Free rapid antigen testing is also available at any time for all residents and staff. Rigorous contact tracing is conducted in the event an infection is detected and isolation protocols and clinical follow up are implemented for any member of the community with a positive test, regardless of vaccination status.
