Your new apartment home
Shirley Meadows is designed to address the needs of older adults with incomes ranging from moderate (60% Area Median Income) to extremely low (30%). Of the 58 total apartments on the property, 55 are one bedroom and 3 are two bedroom. Each apartment has a kitchen and bathroom designed for easy conversion to full accessibility standards if and when residents need it.
No detail has been overlooked in creating beautiful, private apartments that provide a safe, comfortable lifestyle for older adults. Thoughtful features include:
- Large, easy-to-open windows for fresh air and abundant natural light
- Kitchens with energy-efficient appliances, including a full-size range and refrigerator
- A generously sized full bathroom with vanity and shower with grab bars
- Entry closet, bedroom closet(s), and linen closet
- Utilities (except electricity) included in rent
- Individually controlled heating and air conditioning
- Laundry rooms on each floor
