The 2Life Communities annual gala
Save the date: May 18, 2025
2Life Communities is delighted to announce that Nobel Prize winner Simon Johnson will be the keynote speaker at our 2025 gala celebrating our 60th anniversary! Dr. Johnson is the Ronald A. Kurtz Professor of Entrepreneurship at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he is head of the Global Economics and Management group. This October, he received the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in memory of Alfred Nobel, joint with Daron Acemoglu and James A. Robinson, “for studies of how institutions are formed and affect prosperity.”
Thank you!
June 6, 2024, was a spectacular evening for our annual Raising the Roof gala at Brae Burn Country Club in West Newton. This year we raised over half a million dollars, funds that will enable more older adults to age in community and thrive. The theme of the evening was volunteerism, thanks to our honoree, Alice Cutler. Watch the video for 2Life's take on the importance and beauty of volunteerism.
Alice Cutler, 2024 L'Dor VaDor Award recipient
Alice Cutler has built a legacy of giving back. She understands the need to be present for one another through joy and hardship, which is why she is 2Life's 2024 L'Dor VaDor Award recipient. The award recognizes those who make a significant impact on our community and demonstrate a commitment to supporting the work of 2Life. Please join us in thanking Alice for all the ways she brings our community together.
