For Myra, creating an inclusive culture that celebrates the diverse backgrounds of residents and staff is a priority. Her leadership in this area led to Golda Meir House receiving in 2014 an Exemplary Elderly Property Award from the New England Affordable Housing Management Association. Myra has a passion for working with older adults and a strong commitment to building a warm, engaging, and caring community that supports successful aging.
Prior to joining 2Life Communities in 2013, Myra served as programming director for Brightview Senior Living and program coordinator for LCB Senior Living, serving residents with Alzheimer's and other dementias, as well as those without. Her diverse career experience includes 10 years in corporate compensation management with a Fortune 500 company and 10 years in successful grassroots advocacy on behalf of children on the autism spectrum in public education. Myra earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from Southern Connecticut State University.
