Local Legislators Impressed by 2Life’s Commitment to the Devens Community

Local Legislators Tour Housing Projects in Devins - Lowell Sun

A group of State Senators and Representatives traveled to Devens with the purpose of highlighting the successes in a troubling housing market. The tour started at Shirley Meadows, where 2Life vice president Lizbeth Heyer gave a tour and credited the communities success on the “passion for supporting older adults.”
State Senator Jamie Eldridge was moved by the presentation and tour.

“I was very impressed,” Eldridge said. “Combining the truly affordable housing — $400 a month in rent — with the health care support from Fallon Health, that’s pretty unique.”
