Anna Schuessler
Anna is committed to providing homes worthy of their residents’ joy and, in pursuing this mission, has found her home on 2Life’s Real Estate Development team. She became invested in the affordable housing field as a journalist for a local newspaper in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she wrote daily stories about the impact of local policymaking on the region’s housing crunch. Anna studied the increasing dearth of affordable housing in cities across the United States while completing her Master’s in City Planning degree at MIT. As a graduate student intern with the Allston Brighton CDC, she developed an appreciation for the vibrant communities shaping the futures of neighborhoods in and around Boston. Anna continues to serve the region’s community of older adults by supporting the renovation and new construction projects at 2Life’s Brighton and Shirley Meadows campuses.
“I am defiantly joyous about centering residents in our work and taking obstacles as opportunities to overcome big challenges.”
