Emily Levine

Chief of Staff

Emily brings an extensive background in legislative policy and advocacy to her position as chief of staff. She drives our broader strategic initiatives and external policy work, including overseeing 2Life’s Aging in Community Collaborative.

Before joining 2Life, Emily served as the director of policy and advocacy at Horizons for Homeless Children. She developed legislation and advocated to secure increased public funding to support Massachusetts children and families experiencing homelessness and housing instability. She also oversaw a family shelter program serving more than 200 families throughout Greater Boston. Early in her career, Emily oversaw the grassroots and policy campaign at Strategies for Children, a statewide advocacy organization based in Boston.
Outside of work, Emily serves as chair of the Public Policy Committee of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston and on the board of the advocacy organization Homes for Families. She has a master’s in education policy and management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a bachelor’s in politics from Bates College.
