Community development, affordable housing, and economic development finance are central themes in Lisa’s career. She has devoted herself to these complementary fields for more than 25 years. As vice president of Mill City Community Investments, Lisa oversaw the completion of a $26 million YWCA in Central Massachusetts financed with state Supportive Housing sources, New Market Tax Credits, Federal and State Historic Tax Credits and Early Education and Out of School Time (EEOST) funding.
Previously, she served as director of real estate development for Lawrence CommunityWork where she developed a variety of affordable housing projects. From single-family homes to large, scattered site historic LIHTC developments to historic mixed-use mill conversions, totaling more than $100 million. Prior to her work in Lawrence, she developed several mixed-income condominium projects in Boston’s South End while working at Tent City Corporation.
“I take joy in building as much affordable housing as possible.”
