Rabbi Giulia Fleishman
Rabbi Giulia Fleishman
For Rabbi Giulia, discovering new and ancient ways to support the individual and communal spiritual lives of those she serves continually grounds and inspires her work. She is especially talented at facilitating life-giving and authentic encounters for people to tap into their personal sense of meaning and connection in the world. Amongst other programs, this is evidenced by the B’nei Mitzvah class she ran as a 2Life rabbinic intern with 22 participants that culminated in a group ceremony with close to 600 attendees.
Rabbi Giulia comes to 2Life with over seven years of experience providing spiritual care for older adults. In 2022 she received rabbinic ordination from Hebrew College with a specialization in pastoral care. She previously served as rabbinic intern at 2Life Communities and Hebrew SeniorLife where she worked in independent housing and long-term care. She has completed 4.5 units of clinical pastoral education certified by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education at Hebrew SeniorLife, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Baystate Medical Center.
"I am joyously defiant about empowering older adults to carve out space for their unique perspectives within and beyond their spiritual and religious traditions, sometimes adding their voices to a millennia-long conversation."
