Sandy Bielawa
Over her decades-long career, Sandy has helped individuals, teams, and organizations dedicated to solving important problems tell the story of who they are, what they understand about the world, and why it matters, inspiring others to take action.
Her experience includes working with rapidly growing start-ups and Fortune 100 companies alike on corporate and executive branding, strategic messaging and thought leadership, internal and external communications, product marketing and sales enablement programs, public relations, event management, and marketing operations and analysis.
Sandy began developing her diverse skill set over eight years at an integrated, healthcare-focused marketing agency. Before turning to marketing and communications, she held editorial positions at two prominent IT consultancies, healthcare and environmental research organizations, and a non-fiction book publisher. Her particular strength is translating complex concepts into accessible language, ensuring that information is conveyed with clarity and authenticity.
A life-long volunteer for a wide range of non-profits, Sandy has been a board member at an agency serving children and adults with disabilities as well as a Hospice companion, spurring her interest in aging in community. She currently volunteers for SOAR Management Consulting, a group that provides pro bono services to non-profits in Greater Boston. She holds a BA in English from Amherst College.
“I have a genuine curiosity about not only what people do but how and why they do it. As I learned about 2Life Communities and met more and more people, the alignment between each individual’s sense of purpose and their excellence of execution was unlike anything I’d experienced. Being a part of this team and furthering its exceptional work is a daily joy.”
