Susan Appelbaum
Susan is a well-known and well-respected figure in the regional non-profit world. With more than 30 years of non-profit fundraising, communications, and management experience both inside and outside the Jewish community, she has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in creating and running successful advancement departments. Key to her effectiveness are the many relationships she has forged with individuals, foundations, community groups, city officials, and business leaders in greater Boston and beyond.
Prior to joining 2Life Communities, Susan worked for two area organizations: Gateways: Access to Jewish Education and Gann Academy. She has also served as founding Director of Development for the Rose F. Kennedy Greenway Conservancy and established the Hadassah New England Area Development Center. Previously, Susan worked at the Combined Jewish Philanthropies for 10 years serving in multiple roles.
