Four 2Life athletes — each over 70 years old and residents of 2Life’s Brighton campus — competed in the 60+ division of the Chinese Cultural Connection’s 9th Annual Thanksgiving Ping Pong Tournament. They had an outstanding showing at the November 18 event, held at Malden High School.

Staff members Allison Hausman and Tim Lei were delighted to host local television reporters, who caught wind of the story and wanted to see the competitors in action.

Lei described the rigorous preparations for the tournament: "Some of [the residents] start at five o'clock in the morning and then they play for a couple of hours, and then they take a rest and start over again."
