Chief of Advocacy Emily Levine interviewed on 2Life's resident advocacy program

LeadingAge recently reached out to 2Life's Chief of Advocacy, Emily Levine, to learn more about the organization's advocacy program and specifically the ways in which 2Life's residents are activated around the issues that matter most to them.

As Emily says in the blog, "At 2Life, seniors are seen, respected and, most of all, given the agency they deserve. The most meaningful advocacy occurs when the people the work sets out to impact are sharing their own stories."

Residents representing three 2Life campuses came together in January at 2Life's Brown Family House in Brookline, Massachusetts, to hold a town hall with Congressman Jake Auchincloss.


Residents of 2Life's Shillman House in Framingham enthusiastically wrote personal messages on postcards to individuals in swing states in October, leading up to the Presidential election. Across four of 2Life's campuses, residents and staff wrote more than 450 postcards that made their way to voters in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Nevada.
