We’re also happy to share that amenities at Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center of Greater Boston are available to residents at a greatly discounted rate. We share a campus with this extraordinary institution and enjoy reduced membership costs, enabling access to aquatic facilities, fitness classes, workshops, thought-provoking lectures, and a variety of activities.

Getting Out and About

Coleman House is located in tranquil Newton, MA, a lovely suburban setting that’s just seven miles from the dining, culture, and shopping of bustling downtown Boston. The expansive campus has plenty of onsite attractions and conveniences, including Marvin’s Garden convenience store and The Grand Café for periodic themed meals. But outside of the campus, there’s even more to explore. You’re a quick jaunt away from the stunning 55-acre Nahanton Park, where there are lushly lined trails, beautiful gardens, and a sparkling pond for fishing. And within a few miles of home, you’ll find everything else you could need from grocery stores, pharmacies and pet-supply chains to casual dining, banking, and medical facilities.

For help arranging transportation, the staff at Coleman House will be happy to assist you with transit options like the NewMo ride-share’s Senior Service.
