SENIOR HOUSING IN GREATER BOSTON | APPLY NOW

We are excited about your interest!

The application form and process differ based on whether you qualify for an income-based apartment or are looking at market-rate options, including Opus by 2Life Communities, our new middle-income option.

We encourage you to apply early. Many of our communities have a waiting list. Our Leasing Office will let you know when it receives your application and provide further information about the waitlist procedure. Applications are added to the list in the order in which they are received. The average time on our waitlist varies, and you are welcome to email our Leasing Office at leasing@2lifecommunities.org to check your status at any time.

In addition, each year you will receive a letter asking you to confirm your continued interest. You will need to respond to that communication to stay on the waitlist. When your name is close to the top, a member of the 2Life staff will contact you with further instructions and information to help you consider your next steps.

Apply for income-based apartments

Income-based apartments are for those people age 62+ whose income qualifies them for subsidized housing and tax-credit programs. A range of options are available to individuals and households whose incomes are no higher than 110% of the Area Median Income (AMI).

Income-based apartments are available at the following communities:

To apply: Download the Common Rental Pre-Application, and follow the instructions on the form to complete, sign, and return it to 2Life Communities. Note that the application instructions include detailed information about our waitlist procedures. Waitlists for subsidized housing can be quite long, so we encourage you to apply as early as possible.

Note for adults under 62 with disabilities: 2Life has a small number of ADA-compliant, subsidized apartments set aside for adults of any age who have disabilities. These apartments are located at Kurlat and Ulin Houses (Brighton Campus), Golda Meir House, and Coleman House.
